April 12, 2010 Hi everyone!...well once again toooooo much work, not enough time. But here we are again with the current Racey/Richie update! Imminent shows as follows: Myself and `Racey` have been relatively quiet in `2010 only 5 shows due to my solo commitments and probably the economic slowdown!...but off to the Baltic States again for some shows in July with Brian `Smiffy`Smith (tour manager!). The first show is in the 'Kirschstein Hotel' Wolgast, July 17th owned by a friend of mine 'Detlef' a great gig and an amazing area of forests, national parks and countryside…it is in the old Eastern sector of course!… then onto Hamburg for 2 shows… will keep you posted on those too. In between I will keep you informed of my solo UK shows…played Minehead, Somerset, Easter Weekend…apart from fans dancing-jumping on sofas in the venue… I apologise to owner... a great time was had by all. May 14, 2008 Hello everyone… Back in the UK again after some hectic travelling and gigs etc. Sorry for the delay in a Raceyweb update on current things but I am sure you all understand! Workload and all that stuff! Ok… firstly I have a new Myspace site, which is getting a lot of really good responses from all the visitors to the site which is fantastic… so take a visit it’s worth it! Thanks Trina… for your great work. Have got some shows coming up in Germany, so I thought I would put the dates and venues in for the German/Danish fans… and the UK fans too of course… in case you fancy the trip out for a great music weekend. October 8, 2007 Hi everyone… just back from a fantastic solo tour of Australia and the Far East. The Aus' tour was the 'Countdown Spectacular 2' which I must say is probably the best production tour I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of… Truly fantastic experience, it was superb working with such greats of the music world…(see pic's) one and all were true professionals and class artistes who were also really lovely people to work alongside. I made a lot of new friends along the way and re-kindled a lot of old acquaintances…see Hank B Marvin Picture…we last met at a party in Chelsea London 1984…it was great to meet up with him again…still a great guy, and 'great' of the music world. OK folks…enjoy the pic's… May 1, 2007 Hi Everyone… Ok… so this is what has
been happening in the 'Racey' world to date, I am still performing
lots of solo shows all over the planet! Which is extremely satisfying
musically-artistically etc…Completed a RACEY European tour
which kicked off in Scandinavia in late October through till November
5th '06 with the Sailor, Billy Swan and The Rubbettes. In all
about 10 shows (see pic`s). The whole show was excellent! Loads of fans of all the bands appeared at the venues, and all groups did several encores which tells it's own story for fan appreciation! My favourite venue was 'Portalen Music House' in Greve, Denmark… Superb theatre and lighting… Also loved 'Maribo Hallen' Stadion… Staff really treated us wonderfully… A big thank you to you all. It's now May 2007 just returned from Asia and Australia… but am soon to return to Australia for another solo tour with 'Frontier Touring' for a 10 date National tour with all the 'Main Identities' (Lead Vocalists) of loads of 70s-80s bands. Check out link which will give you all the appearing artists, and venues etc… www.frontiertouring.com.au for all info… So will love to see some of you at any of the shows. Great news for the raceyweb.com website…..Yes it`s made it into Wikipedia…Superb… All thanks to Helge of course… A great creator-designer. I have started to add some country songs into my
Solo shows, especially as Anno-domini is creeping along ha ha…no
seriously… there are some fantastic songs out there which
I really wanted to sing, and must be heard by all music lovers
and fans, so I’ve added a few songs which I think are deserving
of a live performance, so come along to some of my shows and enjoy
them…along with all the RACEY hits of course…also
some of the songs/hits I have composed for other Artistes, my

Back in the UK again after a great year of Racey shows and solo tours. Returned to Japan in January to perform 5 solo shows all of which where in Tokyo. A great town to work in ... Loved it, but it was cold-cold-cold. Got back to UK March 06 and it was even colder! Freeeeezin'! To all the Danish fans I will be touring Racey from late October through to mid November with Rubettes, Billy Swan, Sailor etc. All shows now apparently sold ... Grrreat! Gig info available through website via email [use the contact page]. There is also possibly going to be a solo tour of Denmark prior to the Racey tour. Will keep you informed on that via email. 'Say wow - Latest and greatest' album selling well through mail order website and independants etc. Thank you to all purchasers .. Hope you enjoy the album. Thought I should up-date my photograph on website so as to give you the true current impression - haha ... Ughhhhhhh! Don't forget keep sending me any questions you may have and as usual I will try to answer a.s.a.p. Thanks to USSR correspondants, especially for the Smokie single picture sleeve of the song 'The Book' which unfortunately I did not have a copy of ... As the composer it was naughty of me ... is your favourite track. February 26, 2005 Hello everyone, an update of my activities over the last few months. Have just completed a solo tour of Japan...well Tokyo and Osaka to be precise, performed 8 shows in all, and was received extremely well, and have been invited back again next year...Wonderful...loved the food and 'Asahi' beer...superb, then went on to Tour Australia for a further 3 weeks which was excellent as usual, met up with a lot of friends and fans that regularly come to the shows...thanks guys, I`ve Included some photos for you to hopefully enjoy...these photos were taken in the 'Whitsunday Islands' off the far north Queensland coast, and a 'Tokyo' bar...Hic... Note the nylon dive suit!!!...how cool is that? thats because apart from the 'Box Jellyfish' that lurk there waiting to stick their tentacles to a nice soft piece of your skin...(don`t be rude!) there is also another dangerous little jellyfish... 'Irukandji' which also has the habit of taking the odd life here and there!!!.O.K. thats all for now everyone, keep sending me any questions or news you may have, and I will do my best to reply A.S.A.P.
